Q. Where do you primarily purchase your crafts?
All of our products are purchased from artisans or businesses in Thailand.
Most of our products originate
from artists in the Golden Triangle region
of Thailand. This is in the northern part of the country and includes
the
cities of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai.
Q. Who are your sellers?
We purchase our products primarily directly from local craftspeople in
small villages. This has several
advantages. First, it eliminates the middle person, so our prices can be
lower to our customers, and
second, we are able to inspect every product by hand. Certain villages in the Golden Triangle are noted for
producing a specific product, whether it be woodwork, paintings, umbrellas
or other craft.
Q. How do you guarantee quality of product?
We hand inspect every single product that we provide for sale on this
website. If a product is a piece of art or
a hand made craft they may come with a signed certificate by the
artist or their original signature may be on
the artwork itself.
Q. What sort of payment methods do you accept?
We now accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express through
Google Checkout. We
also take Paypal payments and can take check payments (USA only - and
must clear the bank before
the item is sent). |
